monday morning in liverpool city center after liverpool beat brighton and hovelby and two nil at the

weekend i'm joined by paul ghost to react to that. And Paul, it was kind of a bit business as usual, business as it used to be almost. I had a bit of a strange feeling about it, actually. It was all a bit, all a bit kind of normal. Normal, yeah, strange. It was a bit of a throwback to last season, wasn't it, where Liverpool were involved in a lot of games that were hard fought,

but eventually come out with a relatively straightforward victory.

And look, that's what's been sorely absence in recent months,

hasn't it?

You think there's so many games that Liverpool have lost, you know,

the Nottingham Forest one, probably the prime example,

where I think a lot of supports have turned up expected Liverpool's is just sort of click back into gear and normal service was resumed and then they'd go and get B3-0 and, you know, that sort of opens up everything to being questioned, doesn't it? So it was a lot more like you'd wanted to be. Still one or two things to iron out, which is fine.

But it's been a good week for Liverpool, certainly on the pitch.

You know, back-to-back victories, back-to-back lean cheats.

And, you know, that's five and beaten now.

Okay, the results against Sunderland and leads were disappointing because they were draws.

But you have to say the honest slot has steadied the ship

actually on the back of that you know really damaging defeats PSV you know that feels like

it was weeks ago now doesn't it and it's okay there's still things to work on but Liverpool going

in the right direction which is I guess small steps forward

on the back of what had been a really

tough sort of two month period

so yeah almost and upwards
