qualification in the Premier League. With Chelsea beating Leicester City at Stanford Bridge,

the picture is now clearer for Liverpool in their aim for that lucrative top four finish.

Matt Addison is here with me as we discuss the permutations and the fallout from

the result at Stamford Bridge and I suppose that's the big thing now Matt with two

games left for Liverpool we know exactly where they stand.

Yeah that's it we always thought that this actually would work in

Liverpool's favour, obviously Chelsea,

playing Leicester the day before Liverpool played Burnley. That was always going to help in terms of the maths.

Obviously, hopefully we get all of this right. We've done all the mat and got the calculators out ourselves and

Liverpool I'm sure we'll be doing the same, but effectively yes, Liverpool, it's in their hands,

they just need to win both of their two games and effectively as we've thought now for a good few days as long as

Liverpool do their own job they'll be absolutely fine it's just the case now of can they beat

Burnley can they then be Crystal Palace I think certainly you'd fancy them against

Palace because there's fans in the

ground but for me it all comes down to the big one on Wednesday night. It was bizarre

that wasn't it watching the game at Stamford Bridge and when Chelsea went to nil up we're sat there going

well now you want to see more Chelsea goals no Liverpool fan wants to be cheering on

Chelsea for more goals but that would have certainly helped out with the mathematics of it all and then

when Ian Acho scores all of a sudden that chance falls for IOSI Perez and you were thinking

actually a draw would probably be more beneficial but we are where we are and looking at
