Summary

It's been a good week for Liverpool who beat Real Madrid 1-0 at Anfield and have put the brakes on their 'crisis'. PSG were undone by Luis Diaz and a 10 man Bayern whose unbelievable run continues under Vincent Kompany.

Meanwhile a good night for North London as Spurs beat Copenhagen 4-0 and Arsenal won 3-0 away at Slavia Prague, breaking the record for youngest Champions League player ever.

Plus the rest of the Champions League games, Sunderland v Everton from Monday night and the latest on Wolves' hunt for a new manager.

What have you taken time out from to be with us this morning? From writing many stories about Max Dalman breaking records on the Athletic News Desk. Oh, yeah. Amongst other things. Oh, right. He was breaking records, but you were somewhere else on Tuesday night, weren't you? I was. I was at Spurs. Wow. You were there for that goal. I was there for the goal. Wow. Was everyone looking around at each other and going, holy cow. Were they holding their heads like that guy in the meme? Yeah, it was a bit like that. I mean, I only kind of started paying attention to it when he'd kind of crossed the halfway line and it was clear what was happening. But yeah, it was a fabulous goal to see. Given that he's not new to runs like this, there were a couple last season as well, but for other people to then score, is there not a frisson of excitement every time he picks up the ball wherever he is on the pitch?
