near and dear to me. Why? Because I come from a long line of veterans. I mean, I'm talking all the

way back to the revolution, the American

revolution on my father's side. And my husband, as you all know, Marty is a veteran, a survivor of

Afghanistan, a wounded veteran and my hero. And in this house, we love our military. On December 14th is National Reiths Across

America Day. It is something that I love. I have done this with my daughter when we lived in

Alexandria, Virginia. Our family would participate, putting the reeds on the veterans cemetery. We would go out there.

We have so many people that we love who gave their lives to our nation, and we want to
