0:50.8	heard of you they don't know who you are and your personal story is pretty powerful why don't you give an
0:55.8	overview of your personal story? Yeah so probably the easiest or the shortest way to to share
1:01.0	is that you know when I was a teen I questioned my sexuality for several
1:05.7	years and then you know ultimately came out when I was in my early 20s and you came out
1:12.4	as gay as gay
1:13.4	yeah came out as a lesbian when I was in my early 20s
1:16.2	grappled with my faith also grappled with mental illness
1:19.9	something I don't talk about about
1:21.9	So you were a believer at the time when you came out?
1:23.6	Yeah.
1:24.6	But I became part of the gay affirming church world.
1:28.4	So I went to seminary openly lesbian.
1:31.4	And it wasn't until I kind of graduated with my master's degree in theology
