Katie and Joe welcome former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld to Words Matter. Governor Weld began his career as staff member and attorney for the House Judiciary Committee during Watergate. He was later the US Attorney for the District of Massachusetts and Assistant Attorney General of the United States for the Criminal Division from 1986 to 1988 under President Ronald Reagan. In 2016 he was the Libertarian Party Candidate for Vice President.
