We're going to dedicate this episode strictly to the MSC cruises, new private island,

the Ocean Key MSC Marine Reserve, had a chance to check that out last week.

Quick three-night sailing out of Port Miami on MSC Davina.

So did that on Thursday, got back to Miami on Friday,

and went right up to New York City for an event with Holland America. And here we are,

early Sunday morning. And it's been a heck of a six days or so, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. On the show, we'll talk with Michelle McGregor. She's the general manager of ocean key msc marine reserve

also had a chance to check in with kin musket while on the island he's no stranger to cruise radio

he's the chief operating officer of msie cruises north america and while i was up in new york city

i had a chance to catch up with staff writer richard sims he was asking me a lot of questions about what I thought of MSCs and New Island. And I thought, these are very good questions. So I was like, stop right there. We'll turn the mic on, record our conversation, and I'll just air it on Cruise Radio Reimind, because I'm sure other people have the same questions you do. So we'll kick things off with Richard's interview. So you were actually

scheduled to go to the island earlier than this, I believe, and you had to postpone, right?

Yeah, I was supposed to go like a November 17th, but the island was delayed because of the hurricane

that the Bahamas experienced a couple of months prior, so they pushed it until December 5th. So I finally

just got a chance to go experience it for the first time. Okay. So when you get there, what was your

first impression? First, let me ask you, do you tender or do you dock? One good thing about this island

is it's a dock. So they actually dug a channel. If you look at it like on a Google Earth at Ocean Key, you can actually

see the channel they dug to build this dock. But it's really convenient too because, you know,

tendering with 3,500 people can be just a pain in the butt sometimes. It was nice to actually

just dock at a private island for once and walk right off the ship.
