I'm here now with Florence Fabrican.

Fabrican is an important food and wine authority at the New York Times, author of 12 cookbooks,

including the New York Times dessert cookbooks, wine with food, and related.

This, city harvest, 100 recipes from Great New York Restaurant.

She has been writing weekly columns in the New York Times for decades.

She graduate of Smith and NYU.

She has passed in French.

She got her star writing for local East Hampton Star right here.

And now she writes front burner and off the menu columns from the parents' column in the United States.

And Sparikan was gracious enough to edit all of my questions for me, which is the first time

anyone ever done that, so that was awesome.

So you're here tonight with your latest book, City Harvest.

Can you tell listeners more about this particular book and how you chose this charity to donate?

It wasn't my choice.

What happened was that City Harvest is born in the benefit book,

and somehow they connected with Rosoli, the publishers, and I've done other books to do Rosoli,

and they came to me and asked me when I'd be interested in writing a book.

It's not the first time

I've got a book for the charitable connection. I did a book where Rizoli that's done very well a number of years ago for Park Avenue potlo have been a slow entering. And so I guess that fact that record was them to come to me And now I'll have to keep you in mind because the charity is having

self-s are going to have to think about the tie-in for, you know, like, they call you charity. Well, I'm already booked. Oh, okay. Because I'm doing the next cookbooks for the LBI as a meeting. Oh, okay. Well, maybe the one after that. I'll have to pay your dance card. So you started out in advertising in the Mad Men era.

And then you started writing for these fans and stars because you made as big as happy
