the winter tonight at 6 o'clock. Wash dock closes the scenic stretch of State Route 20 each

year around this time.

The heavy snowfall and avalanche risk make it too dangerous to keep the road between the Ross Dam Trailhead and Silver Star Gate open to traffic.

If you must go that way, you'll have to wait until spring.
