I want to hear it all. You got family DNA drama? I want to hear it. Thank God it's Friday Baves. My family is coming down this weekend. I'm so excited because we are going to go to Disneyland, which I believe we talked about this a while back. We had to reschedule.

Hypochondriac me is still a little nervous about it, but I'm like, you know, it'll be fine. It's mostly outside. I mean, I don't really go anywhere right now. So, you know, fingers crossed. We're knocking on wood over here. We were supposed to go for New Year's.

But then COVID was just run and rampant. Haven't been to Disneyland in a while. So excited to see all my faves. You know, Mickey Mouse, love that guy. Gonna have maybe a churro even. I'll indulge. It's the weekend. Why not?

All right, on to business because we need to talk. If you follow me on Twitter, first of all, I'm sorry because I tweet chaotically. Big fan of a tweet and delete. But anyway, this story popped up recently about this family in Switzerland. And it is bizarre. It's eerily reminiscent of the David family that we talked about in one of our very first episodes.

And I mean, it's the whole thing is absolutely devastating. But the circumstances around it are just very well, cold like. So I'm going to reduce who articles about it. But essentially, there's a family who jumped off of the balcony of their apartment building that they were living in. And there's a lot of different information pop well, not a lot. But there's information popping up. That's very concerning. It says the four members of a French family who were found dead at the bottom of an apartment building in a Swiss resort town.

This resort town last week appeared to have jumped off a balcony quote one after the other as part of a group suicide according to the Swiss police. Police said on Tuesday that their investigation suggests that the four people involved 41 year old man, his 41 year old wife, her twin sister and the couple's eight year old daughter, plunge to their deaths in Montreux in Western Switzerland in succession.

I'm just going to keep reading these verbatim. And then after we get through these articles, I'll tell you my thoughts. A fifth person, the couple's 15 year old son also apparently jumped from the seventh floor balcony, but survived. And he is in a coma said the police.

They also said that they ruled out the presence of other people in the apartment at the time, meaning that the family members were on their own and left to their deaths. There's also additional evidence left in the apartment to support the theory that the family willingly jumped off of the balcony.

Investigators said they found a step ladder on the balcony. There was no sign of a struggle and no witness heard any sounds or shouting coming from the apartment or the balcony before the family fell.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, the family was very interested in conspiracy and survivalist theories and had stocked up an impressive amount of food that occupied most of the apartment.

Only one member of the family, the mother's twin sister, worked outside of the apartment the police said. The daughter was not enrolled in school and she and the mother were not registered as living in Montreux.

The son was homeschooled and two police officers knocked at the door of the apartment at 6.15 a.m. on Thursday morning to summon the father in connection with the son's education.

This is the whole gist of the story. Apparently the family had an opposition to authority because they were heavy into different conspiracy theories dealing with the government and whatnot.

After the police left shortly before 7.00 a.m. the five people fell from a height of more than 20 meters in the span of five minutes.

All these elements suggest among the members of this family the fear of an interference by the authorities in their life.

The police said that's where that article left off with another one from W-I-O-N that spoke about this in a wealthy French family obsessed with conspiracy theories linked to COVID jumped to their deaths from their seventh floor apartment in Montreux, Switzerland according to police.

The bodies of Eric David 40, Nazarene Farone 41, and her twin sister, Nargees and their eight-year-old daughter were found at the bottom of a seven-story building just 45 minutes after police had arrived at their door.

The eight-year-old daughter, I don't think we can call that her, quote-unquote, committing suicide, you can't be a willing participant in something like that when you're eight years old.

The article goes on to say however the 15-year-old son survived the fall and he remains in stable condition at the hospital.
