0:12.0	Somehow some way I became aware of a fundraiser that Wendy Malano was doing on Go Fund Me.
0:19.3	Wendy Malano is an Emmy award-winning TV writer and producer known for her work on
0:23.9	the terrific animated TV show Bob's Burgers, which I love, as well as The Great North
0:29.1	and Deadpool 3.
0:31.2	In 2013, sadly, at the age of five, her beloved nephew had lost his life to leukemia.
0:39.0	A few years later, the movie Onterrodge was about to hit the big screen.
0:43.6	The movie was based on the hit HBO TV series Onterrodge about a young movie star, Vincent
0:49.3	Chase, and all the people around him, including his old friend turned assistant Turtle.
0:54.4	It's all about how they're navigating their lives in Hollywood.
0:58.8	Now, Wendy Malano really, really hated Onterrodge.
1:04.5	She'd joke to her husband that somebody would have to pay her $10,000 to go see the movie

1:11.1	And in March 2015, she set up a Go Fund Me account to raise money for cure search, a non-profit
1:18.0	dedicated to pediatric cancer research.
1:21.1	She promised that if she raised $10,000, she'd go see Onterrodge.
1:26.3	She hoped to raise a few hundred dollars this way.
