I started learning through listening to pop dot com slash life purpose.

I started learning through listening to podcasts about the comedy communities and then when I found out that you it was a thing just like skateboarding it's like you just go do it. Literally if you want to do stand-up comedy just find an open mic

and just go try it, you know? And that was really, really cool to me.

So I moved to Minneapolis and started doing stand-up.

And then ultimately the other piece was that's how my sexuality came out was it was just like there's so much self-reflection that you do when you're trying to write jokes and like understand and you're just constantly digging into like, okay, why?

Okay, and then why?

And you just kind of trace it all the way back and it's really hard to hide your sexuality

when you're doing that to yourself at least is what I experienced.
