I'm down in Nashville, getting ready to do some outnumbered and then appear tonight on Fox

News's All American New Year's Eve broadcast,

where I will, of course, be doing stand-up comedy. So I hope you can tune in. I hope you can check

it out. And I hope you can forgive me for not being here live today on this New Year's Eve,

as we say goodbye to a year 2021 that we really did love to hate. It was a mess. It was a mess this year.

But this show today, very much an exercise in excellence. No love to hate. It was a mess. It was a mess this year. But this show today,

very much an exercise in excellence. No thanks to myself. We have stacked the deck with great guests

like Trey Gowdy and Judge Janine and, of course, our leadoff hitter right now, a guy who very well

may be the next president of the United States. I am talking about South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, who is as much fun of a guest as you'll ever hear on this show, but also

the ultimate testament to just how much prosperity is at the fingertips of each and every American.

Tim Scott, a guy who grew up at a time when his grandfather was forced out of school to pick

cotton, is now the first black man to serve in both houses of Congress and a guy who grew up at a time when his grandfather was forced out of school to pick cotton,

is now the first black man to serve in both houses of Congress and the guy who has such an honest take on race relations in this country that he really might bridge the divide

between being honest and bringing Americans together and just calling everybody a white

supremacist for the hell of it because you think

it'll work at the polls. I mean, that's where we are in 2021 as we say goodbye to the year.
