There's a three-word lie you might be telling yourself right this very minute. Want to know what it is?

0:05.7

Well, you know, I'm about to tell you. Welcome to Lisa Unfiltered on the Jesus of Our Everything show,

0:10.5

where I say what I mean, I mean what I say. And in every conversation, I pray to keep Jesus at the center.

Here we go.

0:25.8

So when people find out I'm an author, a lot of times they'll say to me,

0:30.8

oh, I've always wanted to write a book and I'll ask them, well, why haven't you ever tried to write one before? And they may say, oh, I don't have the time or it seems hard,

0:36.3

which I appreciate that one because by the way,

0:39.1

it is, it is. But a lot of times they will just simply say something like, I'm just not ready

1:30.4

realize, and really it's made its way into even my peers in our culture, we need to realize

1:37.5

that things do take time. They take far more time than a lot of times we give them. The best

1:42.8

things often take time. And we really do

1:45.8

truly live in a rush culture and we rush far, far too much. So I respect not being ready

1:51.7

in some, if not many cases. But like in many things in life, there is another side. There are a lot

1:59.6

of us who are telling ourselves this

2:00.9

lie of I'm not ready, which if you want to get technical, is a four-word lie, actually,
