Is self-care selfish? Doesn't God want us to take care of ourselves? And what about things like

0:05.7

hair extensions, fake eyelashes, Botox, lip injections? What does God think about all of that?

Welcome to Lisa Unfiltered on the Jesus Over Everything show, where I say what I mean, I mean what I

0:16.5

say. And in every conversation, I pray to keep Jesus at the center. Here we go.

I remembered something funny today right before I was going to record this show. And so I

0:31.7

jotted it down because it's taking a little bit of a turn. So I'm excited about what we're going

1:21.0

1:26.6

after turning 40. And so what I'm trying

1:29.5

to say is you just change perspective from when you're young and you make a lot of claims of what

1:36.8

you'll do and what you won't do when you age. You know, you think a lot of things, you make a lot of

1:43.2

claims, and it just changes. And I remember

1:46.6

writing in my second book about women in plastic surgery. Now, I don't remember exactly what I wrote,
