Is this culture underrating good men? In the attempt to write a wrong with women or now elevate

them, have we swung the pendulum too far the other direction? Lots of opinions and feelings on the

subject. And I'm here to give you not just my unfiltered thoughts on it, and oh, I will,

but also grounded scriptural thoughts on this. No one just wants another opinion, right?

Yeah, we've got enough of those floating around these days. Welcome to Lisa Unfiltered on the

Jesus Over Everything show where I say what I mean, I mean what I say. And in every conversation,

I pray to keep Jesus at the center. Here we go.

So a lot of my thoughts and convictions I share on Instagram on social media since I no longer write a blog. I try to take my time with it. And in so doing, sometimes I never end up

sharing them at all. They wind up just being rants or something the Holy Spirit

holds me back from sharing, thankfully. But often they just need some time for me to discern

how to say something. So they wind up taking a month or more for me to write. So I share that

because this topic is one that I've had in my notes,

literal notes, Instagram posts that I've started to write in multiple forms for about

two months, three months probably by the time this show airs, that I haven't been able to

condense enough for a caption for social media

because it is a huge topic. But then something happened that stopped my post on Instagram

altogether. The Barbie movie came out. And honestly, I don't really go to movies anymore unless it's an action movie

that my boys want me to go see. And then I'm all in with them because moms do not turn

down an invitation from their grown boys to do basically anything. And let's face it,

they only really asked me to see things that are things they grew up watching with me like

Indiana Jones

or Mission Impossible. But anyway, this Barbie movie came out and my 20-year-old daughter is away
