Sure to thank, brother. Well, I want to start right there with the fact that you were a former

journalist. So maybe you can get into that a little bit, how you became a journalist.

I was actually a journalism major in college, but didn't end up doing it quite as a career,

maybe for some similar reasons as to why you got out of it. But I'm curious, what brought

you to that and how your experience as a journalist ended up sort of shaping your worldview,

be it on politics or whatever else? Yeah, so it's something that I'd never expected to do. I was

in a weird situation where I kind of fell backwards into journalism. I had always been someone

who was interested in politics. I went to school for political science and worked in in kind of Republican politics for a little bit, nothing big, but I worked in there for a little while. And then a few years down the road, my friend was working at a newspaper and he had edited a few articles that I had written.

And his politics guy kind of fell out and he was the sports guy.

And they like forced him to start writing politics and he hated it.

And so he's like, I desperately need to find someone to do this.
