Justin let's just say not to be completely negative off the get-go they

were one-in-one last year and still came 30 minutes away from the Super Bowl.

They have never lost a game when we weren't doing a podcast, so I'm sure this is probably somehow our fault.

But, look, I don't think anybody expected this team to go 17, oh well, I mean maybe maybe a few of the biggest homers possibly but a loss was

going to happen at some point and I think it's not necessarily a bad thing right like you I think a wake-up call is probably the wrong

terminology but it at least resets expectations and it kind of plays into their mantra that they have this year. It takes more.

They're gonna get their best shot, the opponent's best shot every single week.

This was a great example of it. There was a quote in the post-game press

conference. Apparently Todd Bowles was asked about his coaches leaving the press

box in tears, overjoyed by their ability to overcome the lions today. So if that tells you where, you know, the lions stand in the

NFL's hierarchy right now, like teams are thrilled to get wins against this franchise and certainly

to get wins in Ford Field. against this

Well, you mentioned the mantra,

and I think what everybody seems to be a little upset about

after game two, is there a mantra of being this tough team we saw an overtime against

the Rams. The fact the matter is they really didn't run the ball, pound the ball,

played to their identity offensively like they had in the past.

And that seems to be kind of strange where a team with the Lions,

offensive a line with the way they can be physical.
