episode number four hundred and twenty-eight. My name is Marshall. I'm one of your limited resources and joining me on the line all the way from Denver, Colorado. It's Louis Scott Vargas.

Louise, how are you buddy?

Well, I'm sad that we won't be talking about Alpha, but I am happy that we're back on...

That was a fun show.

It was, it was.

You know, as we both said, it was maybe a little self-indulgent in some ways,

but I think it also was really awesome and we'll figure

out where to go from there you know we've got some plans maybe.

Yeah because the main thing is like you know one of our core kind of ideas or principles for our show is that

when you the listener show up that we're giving you some takeaway something to to leave

with it that's useful to you and these type of shows tend to be a little bit low

on that though you can still learn a few things about magic to you know it's like well that's not really getting the way to look at is that was the pilot and if we do further

episodes they will likely not be in place of a normal show I think so there you go that's cool yeah and you know, obviously we hope that you as a listener trust us that when we do decide to break that convention, we do it with good reason. We just really want, I mean, that show was super fun, man I learned actually a lot from it too. I thought I knew quite a bit because I talked to Ryan about it a lot but you guys had some some tricks up your sleeves it was fun.

Yeah we did but we're back on the limited format of rotation, which as you and I have discussed, you know, we're talking

about the show.

We're both still just drafting a lot, which, look, not to burst anyone's bubble, but that does not happen with every set. I think it is great when it does happen and it makes us much better at our jobs.

But for some sets, it's like I'll just front load a ton of practice for the PT. I'll come back home and I'll be like I don't really want to

doing a triple excellent draft right now. Whereas the first thing I do when I came home from playing the rivals

pro tour was fire up five more rivals drives in the next two days.

So I think that this format is deep, rich, and I'm going to enjoy talking about it today.
