Welcome back to fine-tuning with Drew Taylor.

You're one-stop shop, but it comes to animation news and commentary.

I'm entertainment writer Jim Hill and Mr. Taylor, whose writings on the industry you can regularly read over on the rap,

and whose musings on the Mission Impossible movies you can listen to on Light Diffuse, the official

Mission Impossible podcast. Well, Drew ain't here this week. He and I were going to try

to record an edition of the show prior to Mr. Taylor, boarding a plane for France, where he will

first be covering this year's edition of the Annisey International Animation Film Festival and Market,

which officially got underway this past Sunday and then runs through Saturday, June 14th.

And after that, Drew and his lovely bride, Katie, will be making their first ever trip to the Disneyland Paris resort where I hope they

have a wonderful time and I'm not jealous at all.

Anyway, long story short, it will likely be a couple of weeks before you hear Mr. Taylor's

dulcet tones again on this podcast.

Oh, that said, Drew did say that he would promise to try to periodically check in from

fans, maybe file an audio report from the field.

That said, though, well, again, we were going to try to do that this past Friday.

I'll record a quick show, but then this series of very impressive thunderstorms began rolling into southern New Hampshire and between all of the booms of thunder.

And let's be honest, the power grid in this part of the country is mostly made out of folding chairs and coat hangers.

It was just no way we too were going to be able to record.

So that's why I sent Drew in his merry way, and he will be back eventually with all
