So today's topic being at Labor Day is we're talking about the Adlerian life tasks.

Adler was a student of Freud who disagreed with Freud's concept of his notion of what he believed to be the unconscious.

And Adler was more or less ostracized from the inner circle where they would meet on Wednesday

evenings in Vienna because he did not agree with the concept of the unconscious and, you know, Freud's

model of the id, the ego and the super ego, and Adler had the perspective that everything

is conscious and everything is purposeful. And his work is really considered the precursor
