Well, we are on week number four of Life of a Disciple. How many of you have been enjoying the Life of a Disciple series? It's been a lot of fun for us to kind of create this. We're excited. For those you that, again, if this is your first time or maybe you've missed the last few weeks, we are doing a year-long theme called Life of a Disciple, and there'll be four

parts that we're going to do throughout the year. Today will be the last week of the first part.

In July, we're going to do around the life of prayer. We're on the idea of as disciples of Jesus

a lifestyle of prayer is part of what we do. And my mom will be bringing a word, Chris will

bring in a word, and we're working on the rest of who will help contribute to that part of the theme. And then in September, we're going to focus on the Word, the Bible, on Scripture. And Dan Fairly, I didn't even ask him. I said, Dan, you'll be doing one of those weeks. And Dan will be doing one of those weeks

around that. And then we've got a few more around that one. And then in November, December,

we're going to take one of the well-known verses in the book of act, Act chapter 10, verse 38. It said,

Jesus went about doing good and healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers, and so on,

so forth.

What's really fun about that verse is John Alexander Dowey.

If you read his story, one of the key turning moments in his life and ministry,

which he became known as one of the greatest healing revivalists of any generation,

actually came when he read that verse, Act 10, verse 38. And what's cool about that verse, the word doing good actually is where we get are worth philanthropy, philanthropic work.

You know, I love that verse, that Jesus went about doing philanthropy, and he healed the sick,

raised the dead, cleanse the lepers. And so they're just a real beautiful, holistic view of what Jesus' ministry was like.

And so we're going to unpack that more towards the end of the year.

I want to recap real quickly for those you that weren't here the last couple weeks.
