| 0:17.6 | Well, we are on week number four of Life of a Disciple. How many of you have been enjoying the Life of a Disciple series? It's been a lot of fun for us to kind of create this. We're excited. For those you that, again, if this is your first time or maybe you've missed the last few weeks, we are doing a year-long theme called Life of a Disciple, and there'll be four |

| 1:15.3 | we're going to take one of the well-known verses in the book of act, Act chapter 10, verse 38. It said, |
| 1:20.9 | Jesus went about doing good and healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers, and so on, |
| 1:26.8 | so forth. |
| 1:30.6 | What's really fun about that verse is John Alexander Dowey. |
| 1:36.1 | If you read his story, one of the key turning moments in his life and ministry, |
| 1:41.2 | which he became known as one of the greatest healing revivalists of any generation, |
| 1:46.9 | actually came when he read that verse, Act 10, verse 38. And what's cool about that verse, the word doing good actually is where we get are worth philanthropy, philanthropic work. |
| 1:53.8 | You know, I love that verse, that Jesus went about doing philanthropy, and he healed the sick, |
| 1:58.7 | raised the dead, cleanse the lepers. And so they're just a real beautiful, holistic view of what Jesus' ministry was like. |
