Summary

Paul commands us to be filled with the Spirit. Paul doesn’t say, “It would be a great thing to attain if you could. Try really hard.” No, he commands that we “be filled with the Spirit.” Let’s ask this short text three questions: 1) what is being filled with the Spirit? 2) how do we know if we are filled with the Spirit? and 3) how can we become filled with the Spirit? This sermon was preached by Dr. Timothy Keller at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on August 22, 2010. Series: The Holy Spirit. Scripture: Ephesians 5:15-21.
