eight kids and that I've been parenting now for 28 years. And I can tell you right now

some of the most common lies that we as parents battle with. And today, I want to talk to you

about one of those in particular that obviously affects many other areas. It has to do with parenting, but part two

of this particular series is going to include covering the topic of education and the lies that

parents believe when it comes to education.

We all are painfully aware that we are in a battle for our children and for our rights as parents to determine what's best for them.

The enemy is hard at work on all fronts.

The voices in our culture are telling us that we are inadequate.

It's telling us that we don't know what we're doing, that we need the next product,

the next trend, the next training session, the next, you know, series on this parenting class. And there are some great ones out

there. But the problem is that all of this information and having access to all of these

possibilities has all actually ended up undermining our confidence as parents because what we're getting is this message

that we can't do this, that we are inadequate and we really have to be constantly looking for

the next newest and greatest thing in order to be a good parent. And that simply is not true.
