One prominent lie I've seen moms believing is that it's too soon to talk to their daughters about almost anything they label a difficult topic.

One mom put it this way.

Here's my theory. If I don't talk to my daughter about fill in the blank, sex, gender, social media, depression, eating disorders,

then a lie won't have the opportunity to present

itself. When she said that, I thought, really? Really? How do you know? If you don't discuss

a certain topic with your daughter, how do you even know what she does or doesn't believe?
