It's an old joke I know but it's a hard gig this big interview malarky. For my enjoyable and in depth

conversation with the excellent Liam Henderson I was forced to travel to the industrial

wasteland of Florence in Italy, which is gorgeous. Liam an elegant really intelligent

Scottish midfielder who plays for impoli and is now firmly embedded in

Italian football after four years in the country was already a listener to the big interview

and therefore happily he was easy to persuade he was also early for the interview

we're talking about a guy who's played under Italian World Cup winner Fabio Grosso, at Barry and at Verona, and a Scott who's now firmly established in Syria A since the interview.

He's a couple of notable results in local darbies against

Ferentina and against Leche.

This is a guest who loves Italy. The food, the culture and the football. Indeed I think

he feels his talents are more appreciated in Syria than in his native Scotland where frankly he should be part of the
