George Floyd and the subsequent protests. I think I need to note that at the top of the episode

0:12.4

because for me, that changes everything and it should change everything and it should change how

0:17.6

we have these kind of conversations. So I wanted to make that note at the top of the show to let you know.

0:23.5

The conversation with Liam Cunningham took place afterwards and you'll understand that

0:28.6

and appreciate the really powerful things he has to say on that once we get there.

0:35.0

But I did want to say this at the top of the episode and also to say,

0:41.5

however this has affected you.

0:44.7

I'm with you and so is Irishman abroad.

0:47.4

And in the weeks to come,

0:48.5

we'll announce plans for what we're going to do

0:51.6

to try and initiate the change that has to happen as a result of this awful, awful thing.

0:58.8

1:13.1

And he's threatening, you know, that's page one of the bully playbook.

1:17.6

It's extraordinary. And these people, as we know, bullies are generally dumb and very insecure.

1:22.6

And whatever's happened to them in their youth, you can feel sorry for them, you know, if you're not at the end

1:28.9

of their stupidity and their violence. There's a portion of me feels sorry for Trump, and then

1:34.6

there's a portion of me feels, how could you put somebody like that in charge of a country

1:40.7

that's so militarily powerful? For more, where that came from and to hear the complete extended cut of this interview
