I don't like to hop, you know, right into really big things that happen in culture or big things that happen in the world or in terms of like, you know, terrorist attacks or school shootings or something like that.

I kind of like for the dust to settle a little bit before I just launch in and start giving my feedback. And part of the reason is because so many people hop into subject matters and they hop into all kinds of things. And then later on, it's like, oh crap, you know, I kind of messed that up. I kind of screwed the pooch on that when I kind of, you know, jump the gun, I, you know, put the car before the horse, whatever, you know, colloquialism you want to use.

But I definitely wanted to do that with what happened in Israel a few weeks ago. And so we're going to get into that today.

But if you're listening to this and you've been following our knife raffle, I told you today I promised you that we would do an announcement of the winner of the knife raffle.

So that's what we're going to be doing today because you know we did that for a few weeks. And I just want to say thank you so much to all the donors out there because the thing that was so crazy is I was like, I think we should try to raise $10,000.

It's like that's that's kind of a big hairy audacious goal. If you think about $10,000 like half of it going to undaunted life and half of it going to the rescue team of the Tim Tebow foundation, which fights against child sexual exploitation and trafficking.

Like that would be kind of cool if we could do that. And right out of the gate, the donations were much slower than the last time we did a knife raffle. And I was like, oh no, I kind of went out and you know made this big goal. And I just don't think we're going to get close.

But then the guys from Stevenson knives stepped up big time out of the blue. I get a text while I'm sitting in Sunday school and they're like, hey, you know what, we're so tickled to death that people are donating money to try to get one of our knives.

What if we gave a knife to anyone that donated $1,000 or more, just guaranteed them a knife. They could still be in the raffle, but they're guaranteed to get a knife. And I was like, really, you all want to do that.

And so a lot of guys did that. I announced a VR email list, which I'll talk more about here in a second. We had a bunch of guys hop on board. So these are guys that, you know, we're, you know, supporters of undaunted life. And they wanted to get one of these cool knives, but they also wanted to be in the raffle. And they want to support us and the rescue team and all that.

So it's just an amazing, amazing thing. We're so glad that we ended up raising $10,455. I know that's not like a, you know, a nice, even number. But some people, you know, didn't just give $25 increments. They did a little bit random. But we did our goal. We hit our goal. You guys hit the goal of $10,000.

I made the donation to the Tim Tebow Foundation yesterday. So that's, you know, in undaunted life's name and your guys's name. And so they're literally going to be kids that are going to be saved from and cared for after they've been taking out of sex trafficking because of what you guys did. But like I said, we need to give the announcement to the winner. I said I was going to announce it here on the show. They've already been notified.
