Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about why we have to talk about Republicans.

There's been a number of questions about why we have to talk about the GOP so much.

And I know that it isn't what a lot of people want to hear about.

But there's a number of reasons why for at least the next two years, you're going to hear about them.

First, they have control of the House, the Senate, the White House, and the Supreme Court.

They're going to be the party making the moves.

They control the legislative agenda. They're going to be the party making the moves. They control the legislative agenda.

They control foreign policy. They have control. So of course, they're the party making the headlines.

When a Democrat does something like Bernie making a move about credit card interest rate caps, we cover it. But those are going to be far and few between. Second, the purpose of this channel is to be better informed,

so you can make better informed decisions related to your family, finances, safety, and your own civic engagement.

Tuning out because the other team has the ball doesn't help in that regard.

They're going to be making moves that impact your life, regardless of whether or not you want to

hear about it.

Just because you don't take an interest in politics doesn't mean politics won't take an interest

in you.

Third, it won't be long before we start to reach the find out stage of things.

When that happens, and you're talking to the people who are trying to figure out

why inflation reignited, or gas prices didn't go down, or grocery prices didn't really go back

to pre-pandemic levels, you're going to have to be able to explain to them why things didn't

go as promised. To do that, you're going to have to know
