Well, howdy there, internet people, Lidsboo again. So today, we're going to talk about tonight.

See, at time of filming, the horse race isn't over yet.

The house... The House, the Senate, they're both still up for grabs, but there's one thing that's certain,

but there's one thing that's certain already. There's no red wave. It didn't happen. That

promised red wave didn't materialize. And we're going to talk about why it didn't materialize, why it didn't show up, why Republicans

didn't sweep this election the way they should have by all metrics.

The reality is whether you like Biden or not, he's not an incredibly popular president.

There's a lot of economic turmoil.

Historically, at this point in time, the party of the president loses seats.

There's a whole bunch of reasons that should have led to a resounding Republican victory,

but it didn't happen.

So what are the reasons? Some of them are of the Republican Party's own making.

Number one, they took away people showed up

showed up not to vote for the Democratic Party but to vote against Republicans.

It was a case of buying into their own propaganda, believing that overturning that decision was going

to be something that was popular. It wasn't. It's not.

And it will become more unpopular as time goes on. The other thing Republicans did was that they continued to embrace Trumpism and everything

that entails.

They ran candidates that mimicked him that pledged their loyalty to him.

He's a liability. He is a liability to the Republican Party. He has led the Republican Party to loss after loss and

will continue to do so. Trump and everyone like him is a liability to the Republican Party and it will

continue to lead to failure.
