Well, howdy there, internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about what's going on with Marjorie Taylor Green.

So, MTG has been making a surprising amount of sense lately.

For this bizarre brief moment, she's dropped a lot of the wild rhetoric.

She hasn't mentioned space lasers in a while.

And she's acting in what could broadly be considered the best interests of her district,

even though it requires breaking with Republican leadership over Trump's shutdown.

Her seemingly reasonable positions have led to this question.

Quote, is Representative MTG sick? She is saying things, reasonable things. She does revert back and

say outlandish things still. However, every couple days I see or say something in an interview

or make a post that seems reasonable, like needing a better solution to labor than just

deporting everyone. She's really been putting a spotlight on the state of health care. What's going on?

I think people are so accustomed to MTG being,

well, weird, that they've overlooked the most obvious answer. She's a politician. Back in July,

she declined to throw her hat into the ring for the governor's race. That came after she announced she wasn't

going to run for Senate. Politicians only announced they aren't running for a position

when it was under consideration, or there was heavy speculation about them seeking the position.

There's reporting that says part of the reason she declined to jump in the

race was because she was shown internal polling that suggested she wouldn't win. If we take all of

this information in, we can reasonably assume that MTG wants to move forward in politics and progress beyond the House of Representatives.

We can also reasonably assess that she trusts internal polling, despite her public statements that

she would have won. It looks like she's planning for a post-Trump world. Politically, there's a huge difference between winning a
