Well, howdy there internet people? It's Bell again.

So today, I guess we're going to talk about Trump,

the Medal of Honor, a story, and equivalence.

So Trump continued his long history of comments,

explaining that he doesn't understand the military,

its customs, traditions, or values.

He said, we gave Merriam the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

That's the highest award you can get as a civilian.

It's the equivalent of the Congressional Medal of Honor.

But civilian version, it's actually much better because everyone gets the Congressional Medal of Honor.

That's soldiers.

They're either in very bad shape because they've been hit so many times by bullets

or they're dead.

Adding, she gets it and she's a healthy, beautiful woman and

they're rated equal. There's obviously a lot wrong with the statement when it

comes to values, but there's also a lot of

of things the former commander-in-chief said that are

factually inaccurate.

So I'm going to tell you the story of one of my favorite Medal of Honor recipients.

Her name was Mary Walker.

She got her medical degree in New York, and when the war broke out, she tried to join the Army

as a surgeon, but they wouldn't let her.
