A quick recap on how we got here first.

A federal judge presiding over a case about SNAP believed the Trump administration was stalling. The judge ordered Trump to fund

and this allows them to avoid making a substantial ruling on the situation as a whole.

In related legal news, when the initial order to pay by Friday went out, some states got funding.

Those states, knowing children were hungry, wasted no time getting the money out to people.

Then on Saturday, Patrick A. Penn, who is the Deputy Undersecretary
