So today, we're going to talk about GOP senators who might prove to be a problem for Trump.

For years, those on the Democratic side of the aisle had to deal with defections in a closely divided Senate.

The names Banschen and Cinema will probably be etched in a lot of people's minds

for years to come. Despite the constant talk of unity, there are 10 Republican senators who

might prove to be Trump's biggest problems up on Capitol Hill. Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana,

he's one of the obvious ones. He voted to convict

Trump during the impeachment trial. The guy seems very loyal to his beliefs. I don't actually like

most of his positions, but they don't align with Trumps all the time. There's likely to be some

friction there. Senator Susan Collins of time. There's likely to be some friction there.

Senator Susan Collins of Maine.

She's publicly raised questions about some of Trump's cabinet picks and doesn't need Trump's blessing for future political aspirations.

Senator John Cornyn of Texas.

He was up for a leadership spot and didn't get it. So he feels

liberated. His word. He's running in 2026 and will probably be primaried by a more MAGA-aligned

candidate. In Texas, he'll have to thread a needle, but he's already pushing back on some of Trump's nominees.

Senator-elect John Curtis of Utah.

He's kind of a moderate.

He's one of the few Republicans who actually seems concerned about the climate.

He's taking over Romney's seat, and the people who put him in that seat want him

to be like Romney. Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa. She's coming up for re-election in 2026, and some of

Trump's promised policies are going to hit Iowa hard. She's also no longer in the running for a party leadership position,
