Well, howdy there, internet people, it's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about Trump's

Army recruitment and realities. Okay, so by now, you've probably seen the headlines saying that Trump

being elected spurred Army recruitment. Senator Tom Cotton told Fox News, quote, you had some number of young men and

women who didn't want to join the army over the last four years under Joe Biden and Christine

Warmouth, the former Secretary of the Army, when they thought it was more focused on

wokeness and DEI and climate change.

Remember that. He says they didn't want to join because of DEI. That's about to get really funny.

Data and the former Army Secretary tell a different story. She said, quote, we really started seeing the

numbers, the monthly numbers, go up in February of 2024. We were seeing sort of in the high

5,000 contracts per month, and that accelerated, you know, into the spring all the way into August, when the Army really

hit a peak.

So no, it wasn't because of Trump.

The surge in recruitment is the continuation of a trend going back almost a full year.

Okay, so why did it start?

Well, they had their recruiters trained by private industry leaders.

That helped. Back in 2023, they flooded the country with an additional 1,200 recruiters.

They started using data-driven marketing, and all of this helped, but the big thing was something else.

General Randy George spearheaded a new program. It's called the Future Soldier Prep Course,

six weeks of training before basic, to help recruits meet academic and physical standards prior to boot.

Ever seen the Danny DeVito movie Renaissance Man?

That's the idea, but way more structured.

A special program to be more inclusive and give a helping hand to new recruits to meet standards.
