So today, we're going to talk about Trump responding to MTG.

We've talked about how Marjorie Taylor Green has publicly broken from Trump on a number of issues,

and how it seems like Green is working to rehabilitate her image,

while also sticking more closely to her Georgia base's positions. Just as a reminder, a member of

the House of Representatives is supposed to represent their district. It's like in the name and everything.

If your representative is simply doing whatever the president at the time tells them, they're not doing their job. Well, in response to

Green's criticism on everything, from Epstein to the economy, to Gaza, to health care, to the way women are treated in the Republican Party, to affordability issues.

Trump accused her of, quote, now catering to the other side.

Trump then followed that by saying, quote,

I guess she's got some kind of an act going, but I'm surprised at her.

Speaking of Green, he told reporters, quote, I don't know what happened to Marjorie. Nice woman, but I don't

know what happened. She's lost her way, I think. Green responded to Trump's comments in a statement saying,

quote, I haven't lost my way. I'm 100% America first and only. She recently gave a less than

flattering appraisal of Trump's performance. But even though inflation is well above target,

Rent and home prices continue to go up. The price of food continues to go up. Overall, the cost of living is a problem, and I've been

talking about this for months. The economy is extremely important, and I think that was a significant

factor in the elections. While it looks like she's on her way to being called a rhino by Trump, it's important

to realize that it looks like her big sin might have been refusing to accept the 2 plus 2 equals 5

Trumpian math about the economy.

She isn't catering to the other side.
