So today, we're going to talk about Trump, grocery prices, and a question.

So Trump admitted that he might have oversold his ability to bring down grocery prices.

During the campaign, that was his pitch.

He told people repeatedly that if he was elected, prices would drop.

Economists from all over the political spectrum pointed out how incredibly unlikely that is,

and that if he was able to actually deliver, it would probably signal a really bad state of economic affairs.

Now, Trump himself is starting to prepare people for it.

This is coming right after he admitted that he can't guarantee his promised tariffs

won't raise prices on all of us.

Trump said, quote, I'd like to bring them down.

It's hard to bring things down once they're up.

You know, it's very hard.

But I think that they will.

I think that energy is going to bring them down.

I think a better supply chain is going to bring them down.

You know, the supply chain is still broken. It's broken.

This bit of news prompted a question from the same person who asked about Pearl Harbor recently.

Quote, hey, thanks so much for the video. You made all of our days. Even them, even though they were embarrassed.

They just heard Trump saying he wasn't going to bring down prices. And now they're asking why not?
