Well, howdy there internet people, it's about again. So today we're going to talk

about a misconception and a fiction. We're going to do this because

President Donald J. Trump said something, made a comment.

Half the country was like, yes, he's going to do something

about this longstanding issue and issue that has existed

since Eisenhower, and the other half the country was not thrilled about the comment.

So we're going to clear up the misconception because there's a misunderstanding of the term that's getting thrown around. But first we're going to go

through what Trump said. And he said, I'm not saying the military's in love with me.

The soldiers are. The top people in the Pentagon probably aren't because they

want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies that make

the bombs and make the planes and make everything else stay happy.

Okay, sure that kind of makes sense guess, in some weird fashion.

When he said this, people started throwing out

the term military industrial complex

and referencing Eisenhower.

That's cool.

That's, that's, that's, I like that because the military industrial complex

is a problem.

However, that complex is not defense contractors, these companies, these wonderful companies,

making deals with generals,

and generals trying to keep them happy.

That's not what it is.
