Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump, deals, and foreign policy.

We're going to cover a couple of items in this episode, and provide a brief update on some

international happenings. First, Trump's parade that was meant to convey strength to the world

is being openly mocked by the chief competitor of the United States. The Beijing Daily,

which is a state-affiliated outlet that often carries the official Chinese position, ran a piece

that said that Trump's parade showed the

importance he placed on showing America is great again. But quote, yet no matter how it's

staged, it only reinforces the sense that the halo of the United States is fading. And its

deep-rooted institutional problems remain

unresolved. Instead, it evokes deja vu of the setting sun's afterglow, and a pass that cannot

be reclaimed. It went on to say that, quote, in 2025, the United States is moving towards an uncertain tomorrow,

amid gunfire and slogans. Obviously, this is phrasing meant to support their position and interests,

but it's clear that China was not impressed. Meanwhile, concerning the conflict between Iran and Israel,

as strikes hit both countries, Trump said he could easily get a deal done to end the fighting.

That's not a joke. Despite failing to broker a peace in, well, any of the other conflicts he promised to,

he said, quote,

we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel and in this.

Iran has basically said that because the attacks occurred during the middle of negotiations,

that they don't believe there's a negotiated settlement on the horizon.

Iran has ended all negotiations with the United States.

It appears that they are preparing for a lengthy exchange
