So today, we're going to talk about Trump and hundreds of thousands losing health care.

It started.

Experts have been mourning about all of the Americans that would be harmed by not extending the ACA subsidies.

Ever since, Republicans left the working class out in the cold, with the one big, beautiful for

billionaires package. Those experts were called alarmists. They were blown off as fake news.

It was a classic moment where political loyalty overrode the good of the country and common sense.

People didn't want to believe their leader would harm them this significantly.

Even when the Republican Party steered the country into the longest shutdown in U.S. history to avoid helping

the working class with health care. Many didn't believe it. Well, now the bill for trusting

politicians is coming due. It started. Federal data shows that about 800,000 fewer people have selected plans when compared to this point last year.

This number is expected to grow.

This data covers until January 3rd on the federal marketplace and through December 27th on state marketplaces.

And in most places, signups run through January 27th on state marketplaces. And in most places, sign-ups run through January 15th.

So there's still weeks' worth of people discovering their health insurance rates have shot through the roof.

And of people realizing the Republican Party is not trying to help them

and that the premiums aren't going

to drop.
