So today, we're going to talk about the GOP trying to stop Trump from destroying farmers.

Recently, I put out a video detailing how U.S. aid actually functions when it comes to food aid,

and how the primary economic beneficiary of the program is U.S.

farmers. Some didn't like that video, and it led to fun messages and comments like this one.

This is such liberal garbage. You sit there with a straight face telling me that somehow food going to some third world place, not his

term, is somehow benefiting America's farmers. And I'm also somehow supposed to believe that

Trump doesn't know this and is just throwing farmers under the bus. This is just liberals, mad,

they don't get to play world policemen anymore. Let me know when

anybody, other than some liberal celebrity, says it's going to hurt America's farmers. I'm letting

you know. Senator Jerry Moran, Republican of Kansas, and Representative Tracy Mann, Republican of Kansas,

have introduced legislation to try to save the government purchases of domestic food production.

Why are they trying to save it?

According to Jerry Moran, who has been representing Kansas Conservatives since the 1980s,

to quote, make certain our farmers have access to this valuable market.

Food stability is essential to political stability, and our food aid programs help feed the hungry,

bolster our national security, and provide important

markets for our farmers. That sounds super familiar, right? I mean, that could be a line from the

video. Do you know what program they're most interested in saving? The U.S.Aid Food Program, Food for Peace,

which is one mentioned by name in the video,

in connection to Kansas, where these congresspeople are from.
