Well, howdy there, Internet people people let's vote again so today we are going to talk

about the US budget and the developments there and just kind of run through

everything in case you don't remember there and just kind of run through everything.

In case you don't remember, only a portion of the budget for this year has actually made it through.

There's still a pretty large piece that has not gone

anywhere due to Republican dysfunction in the House. That's really why this is happening.

Congressional leaders have announced that they have a deal.

They have until Friday to turn that deal into a reality. Currently at time of filming

they are working on turning that deal into text. What that means is that there is an incredibly high likelihood that we have a partial

government shutdown. Now in theory it could be so short that we don't even notice it.

If lawmakers work through the weekend and everything goes according to plan and the Senate plays ball.

It could be done over the weekend and then it's really not noticed,

but that's best case scenario.

It could extend beyond that. There are grumblings in the

house about the deal already, basically saying that if it doesn't have the stuff that they want in it

that they need to vote against it and this is coming from the Twitter faction.
