Well, howdy there internet people? Let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about

McCarthy and Trump. And how McCarthy might have just crossed Trump. We have talked about how McCarthy is trying to distance himself and kind of

reduce the influence of the further right members of the House of

Representatives, people like the Freedom Caucus, definitely made moves to undermine their power and influence.

These are the MAGA people.

He was asked about Trump and he said,

Can he win that election?

Yeah, he can.

The question is, is he the strongest to win the election? I don't know that answer. Now that doesn't

sound like a horrible statement you know it just sounds like good political math. I mean, let's be honest,

Trump is a twice impeached, twice indicted candidate who, I mean, lost his last

election.

He's not exactly political gold at this point.

But when McCarthy needed votes to become speaker. You remember that? Trump spoke up for him.

So by the rules of the Potomac Two Step, well they're dance partners.

McCarthy seems to think that that song has ended.

Now for Trump, Trump is obviously going to be upset by this.

He is somebody who oftentimes demands a whole lot more loyalty than he is willing to provide to those people in return.

Now with McCarthy making his move in the house and this statement it certainly seems

like he's trying to distance himself from the far right. Now it's also worth remembering that the

Space Laser Lady has kind of cozied up to McCarthy.

And because of that, there is a push within the far right to kind of boot her out of that caucus.
