talk about Kansas and voting and a bill that was introduced it means, what the story behind it is, what the likelihood

of success is, and then if it does move through all of those steps what the courts will probably determine.

Because y'all might remember back in 2022 the people of Kansas sent a message and that is that they

overwhelmingly wanted to keep access to reproductive rights in their constitution.

So obviously, since it's in the Constitution and the people recently voted,

just overwhelmingly in support of it, Republicans gave up on trying to take away people's rights.

No, of course not, because they're not your representatives,

they're your rulers.

HB 2492 was filed on January 10th and it is a pretty restrictive ban. It does allow for some exemptions, but not many.

So, exemptions, but not many. So why was this filed? One of the co-sponsors said that, well, some

students asked me to do it. So, you know know we told him it wasn't going to go

anywhere but you know didn't want to discourage them and you know free speech and all

of that okay so what's likely to happen?
