GOP budget headlines, confusion, and questions. So, the House GOP finally got the budget blueprint

together for their one big beautiful bill. It is a doozy. The headlines are leading to a lot of confusion. Some of the confusion is spilling over into my lap, creating messages like, quote.

I assume I'll see a video from you tomorrow morning about Republicans passing Trump's budget. You've spent the last month telling us that there was no way they'd

get a trillion dollars per year in cuts and saying that two trillion was laughable. So I assume

being the professional that you are, you will have a video ready to go in the morning about

the MAGA cutting 3.5 trillion. I watch you and a few other channels to

get the other side. This will be my test. If you don't cover this, I'll know you're just shills.

I think it's very important that Americans know we're going to start working on the debt.

Before we get started, I want to clarify what I've been saying.

Two trillion per year is laughable.

And one trillion per year isn't going to happen without getting into mandatory spending.

That's things like Medicaid, SNAP, etc. That's important.

I hope you notice I'm still using the present tense. It is laughable. Still, today. Even after

they pass their budget blueprint. Now, let's jump into what they passed and what's in it.

What budget did they pass?

They didn't.

The budget blueprint, which is the first step in the budget reconciliation process,

came out of committee to be sent to the floor for a vote.

This is basically writing out what they want to accomplish, not actually accomplishing it.
