Well, howdy there internet people? Let's bow again. So today we are going to talk

about Senator Feinstein, her return to DC and what it means for the future.

Reporting suggests Senator Feinstein from California will be back in DC this week.

One last crusade. She won't be seeking re-election though.

Okay, so what does this mean? seeking re-election though.

Okay, so what does this mean? If she's coming back, she's going to be voting, that means that the Democratic Party has a functional

majority again on the Senate Judiciary Committee. That's a big deal.

The confirmations have been slowed. I know Fine St.

Offices said they weren't, but it certainly appears that they have been

slowed. But that's not the big thing. The judicial confirmations, they're important, but there are more pressing matters.

The reason the Senate Judiciary Committee really couldn't do anything in regards to the Supreme Court

and what was going on.

It's because they didn't have the votes.

They did not have the votes.

Republicans had enough votes with her absent to kind of keep everything in gridlock with

her back as long as the Democratic Party sticks together on that committee,

they can issue subpoenas. They can do things.

So that means that the whole Clarence Thomas, you know the chief justice, saying I

respectfully decline your invitation to talk, stuff like that that may not cut

it. The Democratic Party, particularly those on the

Judiciary Committee, they've had a lot of pretty tough talk and it was easy to have that tough talk when they didn't have to back it up.

Now with her back, we could see if they act on it. They might. This is an issue that can really help the
