So today, we're going to talk about crews admitting trumps out for Social Security.

Ever since the one big beautiful bill,

occasionally I've mentioned the Trump account and how it's a backdoor into privatizing Social Security.

If you don't remember,

Trump accounts are investment vehicles

that the government is going to throw $1,000 into for kids born

between 2025 and 28. The publicly stated reason for the accounts is to help people when they reach

milestones, like buying a house or going to college. The money is invested in the stock market. I have long

maintained this is a back door to privatizing social security and providing a little bit of welfare

to Wall Street. And a number of Republican insiders have acknowledged it's a back door to going after Social Security.

Well, Senator Ted Cruz was participating in a panel discussion at the Milken Institute's Global

Summit and let out the dirty little secret. He actually called it a dirty little secret while

admitting the plan.

He said, quote,

Here's the dirty little secret.

Trump accounts are Social Security personal accounts.

And there we go.

It doesn't get more plain than that.

It's also worth noting he wasn't blowing the whistle.
