Jason Aldeen says that encores are pointless. And I've often thought

this, have your drink of water between songs. I, you know, you're just back there doing whatever.

Like, give me the show you want to give me and then turn on all the lights. That's just how I feel.

I don't want to wait. I don't want to guess.

I don't want to have to yell and scream my voice out. Jason Aldeen was asked what he thought of encore is at concerts. He's a country guy. And he said, I'm not an encore guy. I hate when artists kind of bait the crowd into that. It's like, oh, I'm not going to play one of my biggest songs. I always tell them, listen, I'm just going to play you everything we got, and when it's over, it's over.

But I also think that as a crowd, there are special nights. And as a performer, I would like to think that you would say to yourself, that was so
