Well, howdy there, internet people, let's bow again.

So today we are going to talk about some news coming from the National Labor Relations Board.

We're going to talk about some new guidance, a new framework that they have put out and then basically I'll go through and read what they said and then I will turn it into normal everyday language for those people who are not incredibly up when it comes

to unions.

So the new framework.

Under the new framework, when union request recognition on the basis that a majority of

employees and an appropriate bargaining unit have designated the union as their

representative an employer must either recognize and bargain with the

union or promptly file a petition seeking an election.

However, if an employer who seeks an election commits any unfair labor practice that would require setting aside the election, the petition will be dismissed.

And, rather than re-running the election, the board will order the employer to recognize and bargain with the union.

Okay so if you are big on unions you already get the point.

To everybody else, to put this into, plain language.

If you try to union bust, you automatically get the

union. They're not even going. You automatically.

Large businesses are going to do the election. Large businesses are going to be super mad about this.

But there is growing union sentiment in the United States.

It's been growing for a while.

It is getting more and more support and people who are wanting to

organize in their workplace they're meeting a lot of resistance resistance that

really shouldn't be there based on resistance that have been less than accommodating and engaged in

most people's understanding of the law.
