Well, howdy there, Internet people? It's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about

Ukraine, Biden, Trump, bad rhetoric, missing context, and bad information. Biden gave permission

to Ukraine for them to use U.S. manufactured assets to hit deeper inside Russian territory.

Of course, this has produced lots of wild claims and rhetoric from all sorts of places,

but most of them seem to be missing a lot of key elements, to include Putin's stated issue with

it. In this case, the missing context completely alters the dynamic and how both sides might

be looking at the issue.

Okay, so let's start with the basics.

After a long wait, the U.S. has authorized Ukraine to use U.S. produced high precision weapons to strike at some targets

deeper within Russia. France and the U.K. granted the same permissions. That's the headline.

Putin obviously has an issue with this, but it's not the issue the rhetoric is pointing to

or the obvious one. You would think it's the missiles

striking inside Russia that is the problem for Putin, but it's not. And he's repeatedly said

it's not. He's gone as far as specifically saying that isn't the issue and that Ukraine is

already using drones to strike deep within Russia, and they're doing it with

great accuracy. So, what's his stated concern? Satellites and reconnaissance. Putin has stated he

believes these weapons can only be used with the direct involvement of Western satellites and recon assets.

To Putin, that means the direct involvement of NATO. He's been openly stating this for months.

If the rhetoric you're hearing is about the missiles, the person either doesn't know what they're

talking about or they're misleading you.

Putin is on record about this, repeatedly.

Now the question is, is Putin right? Not really. There are ways for the Ukrainian military to use the missiles without direct involvement from NATO.
